RomGur.
Online, I'm rymerox
Activist, content creator, video editor, speaker and bassist. I make things for people, and I like it loud, colorful and a little bit weird.
Activist
Secularism, democracy and peace. I organize, argue and show up in the street.
Content creator
Ideas turned into posts, series and stories that people actually want to watch.
Video editor
Cutting footage into something with rhythm, from short clips to longer pieces.
Speaker
On stage, on a panel or in a small room. Happy to talk, happier to listen.
Musician
I play bass. Somebody has to hold down the low end.
Free to live, free to vote, free to disagree.
I'm a member of the Democratim party. My activism comes down to four things, and I'd rather talk them through with people than shout past them.
Secularization
Separating religion from state, so that everyone in Israel can live by their own beliefs.
Against populism and extremism
Standing up to populism and right-wing extremism, and to the politics of fear that feeds them.
Against the war
Opposing the war and working for a political way out of it.
Palestinian rights
Advocating for the rights of Palestinians.
